WHY VOIDORIGINS?

Why VOIDORIGINS?

On not knowing why you started something, and building a place for the questions anyway.

I don't know if I ever really decided to create VOIDORIGINS.

Maybe it happened slowly.

At first, there were just thoughts.
Then questions.
Then things I wanted to write down.

Some of them were about identity.
Some were about God.
Some were about death.
Some were about people.
Some were about myself.

And some of them were things I couldn't even explain properly.

I think that's probably why I needed a place for them.

I've always had too many things going on in my head.

Sometimes I understand them.
Sometimes I don't.
Sometimes I think I've found an answer, only to question it again later.

I used to think I needed to find the right medium for all of this.

Maybe painting.
Maybe music.
Maybe writing.

I don't know why I ended up choosing fashion.

It still feels strange sometimes.

Fashion seemed completely unrelated to everything I was thinking about.

But maybe it wasn't.

Clothing is something people carry with them.
They wear it outside.
They become part of the world while wearing it.

And maybe that's what I wanted.

To take something that existed inside my head and put it somewhere outside of me.

Not as an answer.
Just as a piece of what I was thinking.

VOIDORIGINS

A place for things that haven't been resolved. A place for questions that don't have answers yet.

A place for memories.
Experiences.
Ideas.
Things I believe.
Things I don't believe.
And things I'm still trying to understand.

I don't want this to become a place where I pretend to know more than I do.

If I don't know something, I want to be able to write:

I don't know.

If I change my mind later, that's fine.
If I contradict something I wrote before, that's fine too.

I'm not trying to build a perfect philosophy.
I'm trying to document the process of having one.

Maybe someone will understand what I write.
Maybe someone won't.
Maybe someone will read something here and recognize a part of themselves.
Maybe they'll disagree with me.

That's fine.

I'm not asking anyone to believe everything I write.

Actually, I would rather they question it.

Question
Everything

Even me. Especially me.

So why VOIDORIGINS?

I don't really know.

Maybe I just needed somewhere to put all of this.
Maybe I needed somewhere to be honest.
Maybe I just wanted to be understood.

I don't know.
I'm just confused.
